A. Collection and Use
- We collect a single image containing your face only when you explicitly upload it to use the "AI Artist" feature.
- Purpose: This data is used exclusively to generate a stylized, historical "souvenir" image (e.g., swapping your face onto a historical figure). We do not use this data for any other purpose.
B. Data Retention (How long we keep it)
- On Our Servers: We do not retain your face data. The original uploaded image is deleted from our temporary storage (Firebase) immediately after the processing link is generated.
- On User Device: The resulting AI-generated image is stored locally on your device so you can view your history. You can delete this at any time.
C. Third-Party Sharing & Their Retention
- Who we share with: Your face data is shared securely with Replicate (https://replicate.com), a third-party AI inference service, solely to perform the image generation.
- Why we share it: To utilize their AI models for the image processing functionality.
- Third-Party Retention: According to Replicate's Data Privacy policy, inputs (your face image) are retained temporarily for processing and are automatically deleted. They do not use your data to train their models.

D. Explicit Statement
We do not sell your face data. We do not use your face data to build facial recognition databases. We do not retain your face data on our servers.
2. Other Data Collection
Text & Voice Queries (AI Audio Guide & Chat):
- To provide interactive audio guide features and answer questions about Paris, user-submitted text and voice prompts are sent securely to our third-party AI partner, Google Gemini.
- We do not share personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or account details) with this service. The data sent is used exclusively to generate relevant responses in the moment.
App Usage Data:
- We collect anonymous usage statistics (via Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand app performance and fix crashes. This data is not linked to your identity.
3. Use of Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services:
- Replicate: For AI image generation (as detailed in Section 1).
- Firebase (Google): For secure, temporary file transport and anonymous database storage.
- Google Maps: To display tourist attractions.
- Google Gemini: To process text and voice-based travel questions and power the interactive Audio Guide. No personally identifiable information or face data is sent to Gemini.
4. Data Sharing
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- Anonymous usage data is shared with Google Analytics and Crashlytics solely for the purpose of app improvement and maintenance.
- No user-generated content (images or voice) is accessible to other users.
5. Age Restrictions
This app is intended for users aged Everyone 10+ and does not contain or generate explicit content.
6. Your Control
- You may delete AI-generated images directly from your device at any time.
- We do not store or retain any of your data beyond the current session.
PART II: TERMS OF USE & PURCHASE POLICY
By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.
7. In-App Purchases & Payments
The app offers both consumable items (e.g., "AI Credits") and non-consumable upgrades (e.g., "Ad-Free", "Full Access").
- Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled directly by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or banking information.
- Finality of Sale: All purchases are final. Because the delivery of digital goods (such as AI credits or feature unlocks) is immediate, we cannot offer refunds once the transaction is completed, except where required by law.
- Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google, as they manage the transaction. We do not have the ability to process refunds on our end.
8. Restore Policy
If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can restore your purchases:
- Non-Consumable Items: Permanent upgrades like "Ad-Free" or "Full Access" can be restored at any time by using the "Restore Purchases" button in the Settings or Pricing screen, provided you are signed into the same App Store/Google Play account used for the original purchase.
- Consumable Items: Items such as "AI Credits" are depleted upon use and cannot be restored if the app is uninstalled or if your account data is reset, unless you are logged into a cloud-synced account provided by the app.
9. Advertising
The free version of this app may display third-party advertisements. By upgrading to the "Ad-Free" or "Pro" plans, you can remove these advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites or services linked via advertisements.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the AI-generated content will always be accurate, error-free, or meet your specific expectations, as it relies on third-party AI models (Replicate/OpenAI).
